The Carter Burden Center for the Aging’s 40th Anniversary Awards Ceremony & Dinner Dance, ’A Salute to Theater,’ honors Frank Gilroy, John Kander and Stephen Sondheim. Held at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, 80 Columbus Circle, the evening will begin with a cocktail reception at 7 p.m. followed by dinner, a special performance by Barbara Cook, dancing and a silent auction. Event Co-Chairs are Sally Bott, Susan Burden, Bill Goldman and Margaret & Ian Smith. Proceeds will enable The Carter Burden Center to continue to support the efforts of older people to live safely and with dignity. Benefit tables range from $5,000 to $50,000.
