The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) New York Committee is hosting the
seventh annual “For the Love of George” cocktail party and concert in New York City on October 27 to
heighten awareness of the disease and rally young professionals around the cause.
With the event continuing to grow annually, this year’s For the Love of George will be held from
7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Mars 2112, 1633 Broadway in Manhattan.
It will feature live entertainment by Booga Sugar, a popular dance groove band, and an auction with
must-haves like a trip to Mexico, a signed jersey by quarterback Eli Manning, and Judith Ripka
jewelry.
