| Description |
On the buyer side, a piece of art is not just decoration but also an investment, an artifact that if properly researched will accrue in value over the years. However, the art market is difficult to penetrate, being driven by a different set of principles than other investment markets.
For those eager to begin investing in art but do not know where to begin, this panel will explain the basic principles of the art market, the relevance of investing in art as an asset, and the importance of starting a collection early on. Bringing together experts from a scope of institutions in the art world, the discussion will be moderated by Annika Connor and give a broad overview of how to begin accruing one’s own collection.
