Brooklyn Public Library's 15th Annual Gala + After Party

Brooklyn Public Library’s annual Gala will pay tribute to celebrated Brooklyn author Paul Auster, whose work includes The New York Trilogy and Sunset Park. Brooklyn-based author and comedian Amanda Stern will host the evening’s cocktail party and dinner from Blue Ribbon. Guests will be entertained by The Bumbys, who will provide “A Fair and Honest Appraisal of Your Appearance”� on manual typewriters and the 80s tribute band, Rubix Kube, will perform. In addition, the Gala will feature a live auction offering travel packages to destinations like Paris, Napa Valley and Italy. Enjoy an open bar, music by Rubix Kube and a set by DJ Mikey Palms. Guests are also invited to stay for Brooklyn Bowl’s regularly occurring Thursday night gig by Roots drummer and DJ, Questlove.
