Three distinguished author-personalities will read, discuss and sign copies of their books; while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and a 3-course prix fix menu w/bottomless beverages (mimosas, bellinis, and red/white wines) with DJ sounds. A portion of the proceeds will go to St. Mary's Healthcare System for Children.

CHERYL WILLS: an award-winning anchor and reporter for New York 1 News. Her book, Die Free: A Heroic Family Tale, traces her great-great-great grandfather Sandy Wills' courageous service in the Civil War as a member of the U.S. Colored Troops. On 3/25/11, she made history as the first journalist invited to speak inside the United Nations General Assembly Hall for the International Remembrance of Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Cheryl is also a blogger for the internationally renowned The Huffington Post and she contributes to Essence.com.
KEVIN SESSUMS: author of the New York Times bestselling memoir, Mississippi Sissy. Its sequel, I Left It On the Mountain, will be published by St. Martins. He was Executive Editor of Andy Warhol's Interview magazine and for 14 years he was a Contributing Editor of Vanity Fair magazine where he wrote cover stories on, among many others, Barbra Streisand, Madonna, Johnny Depp, Cher, Courtney Love, Tom Hanks, and Emma Thompson. His work has also appeared in Playboy, Elle, Allure, Parade, Out, Marie Claire, and Travel+Leisure,Towerload.com and The Daily Beast.com.
