Join us on Thursday, October 6, 7—10:30 p.m., to support Canteen Arts, Canteen magazine, and canTeens, our Harlem tutoring program. Due to popular demand, our annual fundraiser will again be held in Brooklyn Heights at the fabulous, art-filled home of Brooklyn Museum director Arnold Lehman.
As part of the festivities, Canteen Arts will honor artist Kehinde Wiley.
Enjoy hors d’oeuvres by Crave, cocktails by master mixologist Justin August, literary fortune-telling by the New Yorker”˜s Ben Greenman and author Lauren Mechling, free portraits by artist Soosan Silanee, a silent auction, and more.
