The Brain Injury Association of New York State (BIANYS) is pleased to announce its Fourth Annual Journey of Hope Gala on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Prince George Ballroom in New York City. Honorary Co-Chairs Penny Marshall and Lorraine Bracco, motivated by their own experiences supporting a friend with a brain injury, have generously committed their time and energy to support the Gala and BIANYS. The cocktail reception and silent auction start at 6:30 p.m., followed by an award presentation and dinner at 7:30 p.m. There will be a special performance by international sensation Veronica Martell and her ten-piece orchestra band. Tickets are $300 each. All proceeds benefit the Association.
The Gala supports the many life-changing programs and services provided by BIANYS, which assists individuals with brain injury and their families and promotes prevention. BIANYS is the premier support and advocacy organization assisting New Yorkers with brain injury and their families. This event is the Association's major annual fundraising event, raising much needed funds to continue its mission.
Ronald O. Perelman and Dr. Anna Chapman will serve as Dinner Chairmen; Rosemarie diSalvo and Bradley Van Nostrand are the Gala Chairmen. Andy Jagoda, MD, FACEP, Professor and Chair, Department of Emergency Medicine, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, will receive the Champion of Hope Award and the Gundersen Family will receive the Victory Award.
