A screening of the new documentary “The Latino List,” by
Timothy Greenfield Sanders**. In the documentary, a remarkable array
of Latino leaders and artists from a rich range of backgrounds share
compelling life stories that offer a unique window into what it means
to be Latino in 21st-century America. Seen in a series of interviews
conducted by NPR correspondent Maria Hinojosa, this extraordinary
cross-section of Latinos represents a variety of professions,
disciplines and backgrounds, with each individual speaking to their
unique struggles and triumphs as a Hispanic in America.
