For her second gallery show, Berlin based Stefanie Gutheil creates oversized, Bosch-hued paintings with fantastical imagery based on characters from her daily life. Gutheil’s grotesque, yet endearing clan travel through an architecturally impossible space as some even cross over to our world, emerging from the 3D canvases as full-fledged sculptural works.
