The 2nd annual WIE Symposium (Women: Inspiration & Enterprise) kick-off
event hosted by Steve Sadove, Saks Fifth Avenue Chairman and CEO, Glenda
Bailey, Harper's Bazaar Editor-in-Chief, and Melissa Beste, Akris CEO, on
Thursday, September 15th from 7 -9 pm.
The event will feature a panel discussion, "Empowering through Fashion: Can
we dress our way to Success?", by Diana Taylor, Candace Bushnell, and Padma
Lakshmi, and will be moderated by MSNBC "Morning Joe" host Mika Brzezinski.
Following the panel discussion Akris will present a runway presentation of
it’s Fall/Winter 2011 Collection.
