This year's event will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 in the prestigious main dining room at the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street.
Women in Business: Making Change celebrates those power players who have helped women climb the professional ladder offering inspiration, guidance and opportunities to succeed. Additionally, the event promotes the Dress for Success Financial Literacy Program, which helps women take control of their income, and champion their own financial futures. Launched in 2008, the Dress for Success Financial Literacy Program is an interactive and intensive seminar series that covers topics such as budgeting, basic banking, debt and credit, taxes, investing, and retirement. 100% of program graduates have a monthly budget, checking and savings accounts, no longer receive public assistance, and significantly reduced their debt.
