Women, War & Peace shines a light on women who are changing the rules of engagement in conflict zones from Colombia to Bosnia, Afghanistan to Liberia. On five consecutive Tuesdays beginning October 11, PBS will air nationwide Women, War & Peace, a groundbreaking television series that explores women’s strategic role in conflict and peace building.
Produced by Abigail Disney, Pamela Hogan, and Gini Reticker the series features narrators Matt Damon, Tilda Swinton, Geena Davis and Alfre Woodard. The award-winning documentary Pray the Devil Back to Hell, will receive its U.S. broadcast premiere as the episode of Women, War & Peace devoted to Liberia.
