On Saturday, June 16, 2012, The Mashomack Polo Club will host the 15th Annual Mashomack International Polo Challenge Luncheon. Presented by Nespresso, the event begins at noon with a Champagne Reception followed by a tented field-side luncheon and the exciting 8 goal International Polo Challenge. Teams representing the United States, Great Britain, Italy and France battle valiantly to secure the coveted trophy for their team and country. This year we have the great honor of hosting His Highness The Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur and welcoming the Royal Family, with Maharaj Narendra Singh playing for the dashing Team India.This prestigious event attracts over 500 patrons and marks the official start of the summer social season in Millbrook. This wonderful day of sport brings guests from New York City, Westchester and Fairfield County to spend the day in the countryside and experience ’The Sport of Kings.’ Children who attend are being treated to their own activities, including the International Parade of Flags and a petting zoo; it is a wonderful day in the country for families. Following the match is a highly publicized awards ceremony. The Chairmen of this year’s event are Bruce & Teresa Colley, Karen Klopp and Parker Thorne.
