Behind the Book's 3rd Annual Wine Tasting

Behind the Book’s Young Executive Board, in conjunction with Moore Brothers Wine Company, is hosting its 3rd Annual Wine Tasting Event. Please join us on January 24th, from 6-8:30 PM, for hors d’oeuvres, an author reading, a raffle, and a wine tasting. The event will take place at Moore Brothers Wine Company: 33 East 20th Street, 2nd Floor. All proceeds from the event will support Behind the Book's programs in high need public schools in NYC. About BtheB: Behind the Book identifies books that speak to urban youth and partners with teachers to create immersive curricular units by bringing the authors of those books into the classroom. Through a series of workshops, authors discuss their book and teach a genre of writing, encouraging students to see themselves as readers and writers and ultimately guiding them in the creation and publication of their own original writing.
