Union College

So apparently there are some girls out there who believe that the psychological and physical trauma that pledges endure is "worth it." Tess Koman of Union College is one of those girls. She penned an essay for Cosmopolitan openly admitting to the atrocities she would endure along with her pledges. The counseling center at Union would yield triple the amount of students during pledging season, and 90% of those visitors were girls who were pledging sororities. She was forced to dance scandalously with her sisters in front of frats while they screamed horrendous things at them. She was also forced to sleep in a basement with 42 other girls and share one toilet with them. She was also deprived of sleep as she was forced to do lineups at night where sorority sisters would scream at them and berate them to the extent where 1/3 of the pledge class was crying each time this happened. But yeah, Tess, sounds totally worth it.
