Today Katie showed up looking straight out of Gradient Magazine, "Manhattan's Newest Trend Bible."
Maybe it was the lunch date with her bf, or maybe she just wanted to shake things up on this dull Wednesday in a cleaner fashion than myself. She is making me, in my LOLA tee shirt and Jcrew shorts from college look like scrub.

I'm not trying to be self-deprecating but I have to say this is not one of my finer pictures/outfits/moments. I'm still wearing the same shirt I went to bed in last night and the Hermes head scarf is covering/making up for the fact that I did not wash my hair this morning! Avert your eyes or you might turn into stone!!

HOW THE F COULD YOU EVEN PROVIDE A LINK TO THAT CHiCHI bullsh*t website?? I was really not trying to hate you (as much as DBTH has been telling me to) but this is a new low. I am all for reading your posts on B clubs but to give exposure to a website made by a group of wannabes posting about LE SOUK???? That place was B list 5 years ago... Please GofAG!! You need SOME sort of standards

Wooooah. Let's relax with the name calling. First of all they provided a link to the website because the article about Gradient Magazine is a very good one, I would know seeing as I wrote it. And I also guest blog for GofaG:Manhattan and I'm one of the writers for GoaG:Hamptons. So they were just helping my little blog out. As for Le Souk, I don't run around posting about all the "Hottest" clubs, because nightlife in NY right now is at an all-time low and EVERTHING is B-list. 1OAK, SubMercer, Socialista, Goldbar, same scene, slightly different decor. I let my writers post about whatever they like. She liked Le Souk and wanted to write about it so I said why not. You my friend need to BREATHE. ChiChi212 is just a little blog, we're not trying to Break/ "break" stories like GoaG and DBTH. We just post because we all have jobs that don't allow us to write and it's a fun little outlet.

you are such a tool. Who cares about Le Souk. And as much as I hate to admit it the article was fairly decent. Even good. And if you pick team DBTH over team GofaG it would be like choosing team Aniston over team Jolie and would make you an even bigger loser than you already are.

I think it's a little pointless to spend your time arguing about which clubs are b-rate and so forth. I wrote the article because I appreciated what the club offered, and I liked that it stayed busy all night. I had some good dinner there. Woops. Next time, I'll be sure to write about what only the elitists would appreciate. As for ChiChi, Brittany is right: our staff is a group of writers who appreciate NYC for what it has to offer and we like to write about it. One - nothing ever starts off famous or reputable, and Two - if you're so concerned about the city and it's venues, it wouldn't be too off the rocker if you thought what we are doing to be a compliment to the city in which we all live. Thank you.
