While we were busy singing "All the women who are independent, Throw your hands up at me," Solange sang "I'm not her and never will be" off the Sol-Angel album in "God Given Name." Interscope Records dropped her in 2009 and Solange was not about to mimic her sister's success as she independently worked on a third album in Australia.
