Age matters
The age difference will inevitably make things uncomfortable. He can't call you cute like a 20 something boyfriend could because otherwise it makes it seem like an Electra complex kind of thing, and that would make it uncomfortable too. You can never wear braids around him, anything monogrammed, rompers, overalls, Converse or Supergas, baby tees, Victoria's Secret.... basically ANYTHING that his daughter could also sport. Then he would be all, "You look so sexy!" and later he'll see his kid wearing the same thing and get weirded out. At the same time, you can't pretend to like the same things he does - things like scotch, golf, cigars. Because honestly, it's just way too try hard. Almost like your his kid that's trying to be just like his dad, or just trying to be as mature as he is. You can't even wish him a Happy Father's Day because if you're excited about it, it's like you're way too into the fact that he's a father. If you're not into it, well you shouldn't be into it because it's weird. Just turn your plane on airplane mode this Sunday or conveniently lose it!
