A Look Inside Area Nightclub's 30th Anniversary Party

Do you think a club like Area could exist today? EG: That gets back to the freedom issue. It would be very difficult to pull it off. Maybe there are other cities around the world that don't have the restrictions. New York has become very bucolic. The city that never slept, now is like a bedroom community sometimes. SB: I'm sure there's stuff happening like Area, but it's out in Brooklyn, where it's easier to do this kind of stuff. In Manhattan it's probably too difficult because it's too residential now.
