15 years of Cindy Sherman playing with disguise, challenging stereotypes and questioning old role models of femininity and perception, are now on display at MoMA. The photographer, whose captures range among the most expensive artworks in the art world, opened her new exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art last night.
Guests included David Rockefeller, Kim Cattrall, Wendi Murdoch, Molly Ringwald, art dealer Sabrina Buell, MoMA PS1's director and chief curator at Large at MoMA Klaus Biesenbach, artists Chuck Close and Terence Koh, fashion designers Todd Thomas and Narciso Rodriguez, and Debbie Harry.
The exhibition will on display for the public from February 26th until June 11th.
