Aquila Theatre, Scenes from Shakespeare

Aquila Theatre, Scenes from Shakespeare
On three occasions during the evening, audience members were treated to Shakespearean performances by Aquila Theatre, a London nonprofit based in New York since 1999. These men (and women) of infinite jest included Michele Vazquez, April Yvette Thompson, Nathan Flower, James Knight, and John Buxton, with assistance from Kimberely Donato. Highlights included a reenactment of the famous "Churchyard" scene of Hamlet, where the gravedigger sang a Johnny Cash song before the skull was raised. Poor Yorick, but lucky us!
