DJs, Designers & Downtown Cool Kids Help Celebrate Gilded Lily's 1 Year Anniversary

Last night nightlife hot spot Gilded Lily capped off its first year with a huge celebration. The venue, situated below the acclaimed farm-to-table restaurant, The Monarch Room, has been one of the hottest destinations in New York right from the beginning, and has maintained that reputation over the last 12 months. Weekly parties including Feel Up with dream-team hosts Paul Sevigny, Andre Saraiva, Erik Foss, and Susanne Bartsch, along with insane blowouts like the Public School Spring '15 after-party featuring an actual drum-line, created a memorable first year for owners Eric Marx and Lisle Richards. Maxwell Osborne of Public School showed up again last night, unwilling to miss out on the antics and surprises in store. That included a surprise DJ set by Funkmaster Flex, who was in the company of top DJs including Mel Debarge, DJ Cassidy, and Elle Dee. Flex also helped introduce the surprise performer, Cam'Ron, who is experiencing an exciting and resurgent year himself.

The Diplomats leader and fan favorite fired off bars from songs like "Oh Boy" and "Hey Ma" which immediately turned the crowd up. The room was fully packed with people paying tribute in the most appropriate way (drinking and dancing), and with fashion week starting in two weeks, another night like this is right around the corner.
