It's not every day one gets invited to a lunch at Saks Fifth Avenue uptown. But no more fitting a spot to fête the recent publication of Lucy Sykes's newest sure-to-be-best-seller, Fitness Junkie, than the insanely unique pop-up floor at said department store.

Converting their second floor into an experimental space called "The Wellery," Saks has invited fitness and wellness brands across the board to come and set up shop. Shoppers can sit in a salt room, take a Martone Cycling Co. bike for a spin, sweat it up at Conbody (a new fitness routine developed by a former inmate, and run by fellow inmate instructors that will have you jail level ripped), all the new-age, alternative workout crazes your silly little mind can imagine.

A hilarious story of a desperately determined woman's attempt to win back her career by losing thirty pounds, Fitness Junkie is a tale of naked yoga, clay diets, and cult workout classes that will seem all too familiar. And so, the Saks Fifth Avenue Wellery. Right?

Fashion friends aplenty came out to celebrate Sykes alongside event host, and founder of GLAM4GOOD Mary Alice Stephenson. Click through for an inside look!
