Barely averting the fashion week madness that is now in full swing, wine-sipping guests traversed the gallery space and admired mannequins, which featured impressive black and white garments and was complemented with music by Camilo Lara and Brian Chase of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

The young designer (follow her on Twitter!), has a background in philosophy and describes her clothing as a means to" discover consciousness, discover a lifestyle, and [to] show your inner beauty on the outside." The jury may still be out on how much "inner beauty" there was in the room, but there certainly was plenty of the latter... and isn't that what fashion week's all about?
