Since 1990, Glamour has honored inspirational women each year who have proved that #EveryWomanCan by making our lives better with their genius. Last night not only marked the 25th Anniversary of the Glamour Women of the Year Awards, but the very first official Women of the Year Day issued by Mayor Bill De Blasio! This year honorees included Victoria Beckham, Misty Copeland, Elizabeth Holmes, Caitlyn Jenner, Cecile Richards, The U.S. National Soccer Team, The Women of Charleston, and Reese Witherspoon. We still have goosebumps from Glamour editor-in-chief Cindi Leive's words that echoed through Carnegie Hall, "[these women] don't just tweet what's wrong, they make it right." Cue the waterworks.
