There are garden parties, and then there are Garden Parties.

Last week, society staples, philanthropy pillars and even an exciting Hollywood star flocked to the Bronx in their black tie best. The occasion? The New York Botanical Garden's much-anticipated annual Conservatory Ball.

A sea of ballgowns and floral prints whirled about the grounds as guests took in the garden's must-see new summer exhibition, ...things come to thrive...in the shedding...in the molting... by contemporary artist Ebony G. Patterson.

Following sunset cocktails, the party made its way into the Conservatory Tent. As one would expect, the decadent dinner featured a stunning display of floral tablescapes, with the pièce-de-résistance a canopy of spring blooms above the dancefloor. Procrastinating the long drive home and enjoying the good company at hand, partygoers danced late into the night, sipping on Perrier-Jouët and French Bloom to the tunes of DJ Runna.

So, curious to see who wore what?
