While yesterday may have gotten off to a slow start, with Ewan McGregor hilariously Instagramming the scene of a very empty press junket, things picked up later that evening for the cast of T2 Trainspotting at the film's screening held by The Cinema Society with 19 Crimes Wines & Ben Sherman.
Feting the much anticipated sequel to a beloved cult favorite, the boys were back in town, with director Danny Boyle, and actors Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller, Ewen Bremner following up the film by partying the night away at ever-trendy Mr. Purple alongside fellow high profile (snow boot wearing) friends like Julian Schnabel, Rosario Dawson, Michael Shannon, Gina Gershon, Paul Haggis, Lucy Liu, Timo Weiland, and Helena Christensen. And while a night in New York may not appear the most fitting of backdrops for such a reunion, with passed plates of mini Scotch eggs and shepherd's pies, we're sure the cast felt quite at home.
