Barbra Streisand
Glamour presented this year's Lifetime-Achievement award to Barbra Streisand. Apart from her countless awards, from Oscar's to Grammy's and Emmy's, Streisand has paved the way for women in entertainment for years. She was the first woman to write, produce, direct and star in her own film, and today stands as America's bet-selling female recording artist.
In addition to her achievements, Glamour applauded Streisand for her continued support for women's causes. Most recently, Streisand opened a research center dedicated to researching women's heart disease.
During her speech, the star shared inspirational words, "I encourage you to believe in the power of your own voice."
