The Music

Dandy Wellington and his BandAfter spending quite some time on another bar line (while sipping on whiskey - so we were happy), we finally had our mixologist-made Hendricks gin cocktails in hand and could squeeze our way towards the swinging sounds of Dandy Wellington and his Band. Nostalgia kicked in when we danced to his jazzy, upbeat tunes, which we may say, could have waked the dead. When the bells tolled 1 am (there were bells, and they did toll), it was time for our magical night to end. What we previously thought to be a phantom trolley revved up its engine and shone its light on us, like a relic from the past we might have just dusted off. Drinks still in hand, the party piled on, led back to the real world and waving goodbye to Ward McAllister and the gilded ghosts of NYC past. Until next time.
