Act like you don't give a shit. Believe it. Live it. Always. No matter what. Especially when there's a celebrity present.
Fashion Week is star-studded. There's a fair chance you'll be sitting next to Zac Efron at Calvin Klein, or you'll run into Rihanna at the bar. The quickest way to let everyone in the room know you're a rookie is to get starstruck. This is New York. We ignore famous people at all costs, then inconspicuously disperse the news of our sighting via Twitter, Facebook, and text. Starstruck is not fashionable.

"Let's face it: fashion isn't fun if you can't fit into the clothes." Fashion is always fun. Who are you to dictate that it isn't, especially based on something as arbitrary as dress size? Personal style is just that; personal. You can be fashionable at any size. You should be telling people to be confident in their own skin. Oh, and Forever 21 and H&M? What TERRIBLY original ideas. How about you tell readers about places they HAVEN'T already heard of? Clearly you know nothing about fashion.

"Act like you don't give a shit?" Acting like a douche-bag is not going to take you very far in life. Terrible advice. And telling girls they need to lose 5/10 pounds to look good is HORRIBLE. This article is one of the reasons why girls have so many destructive self-image problems. Women can look great at any weight. I am disgusted in so many ways by this article, and this should not be the advice being given to our youth!

I woke up today thinking "I love living in a society where we are taught to love ourselves, with all our supposed flaws. A society where women are judged based on their intelligence and compassion, not their looks." And then I read your article and was brought back to reality. Way to take women back about 70 years. I could actually feel my IQ drop as I was reading. Thanks.
