Makeup can play a huge role in cultivating and finishing a collection during NYFW, literally. During the S/S 2016 Fashion Week season, designers Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Panszcyk revealed that their inspiration drew from makeup. Using the textures and application methods of cosmetics, they manipulated the textiles, creating unique draping techniques and silhouettes.
