Women have to constantly stay at it and not accept judgement from anyone. Believing in yourself is the biggest battle. I have two nieces, 15 and 19. I think about them often - they live in a society where as a woman you have to get married at a certain age and have kids and be good to your husband. Women have to respect themselves and each other, but it's a lot of education that has to happen for the next generation. I always say this awareness starts at home and this responsibility goes to the parents. When there's a boy and a girl in the house you can't raise the boy thinking the girl is secondary. Mothers can't just protest in the streets and fight with the police - all of this has to start at home. You also can't change the minds of the grown ups who have it engraved in their heads, you just have to let them die off.
