September is here, and after a long summer it's "back to school" for the fashion set. Late Thursday morning, BCBG kicked off New York Fashion Week with a flurry of ethereal styles in romantic prints. After the show, the flurry continued as dozens of bloggers spilled outside of the tents at Lincoln Center - chatting with friends and posing for pictures. If ever there was still doubt about wearing white after labor day, today's street style would dispel it immediately, while crop tops appeared to be as ubiquitous as Chanel bags. June Ambrose showed us how to pull off a head scarf with panache, Jay Manuel gave face for the cameras, and Kimora Lee Simmons marched confidently through the crowds.
