You worked in finance – how did that help you as an entrepreneur, as a designer?

Finance is a great background, but there’s no silver bullet to success in this business, I’ll tell you that. But it’s been incredibly helpful. I can put on my right brain cap on or my left brain, whatever works, sometimes they collide, where I’m ready to pull my hair out, but it’s been incredibly helpful for me to understand how fashion works as a business.
