NYFW Fall 2014: The Dos & Don'ts Of Surviving Fashion Week In Style

NYFW Survival Guide

I have a confession to make: last year, I ended up in the emergency room because I did NOT survive fashion week. How I got there I’ll get into some other time (as in you can ask me privately one day over a Negroni.) It was not pretty and yes, it was in complete relation to malnourishment and burning the candle at both ends. What started off as a fun week gallivanting from shows, to blogger lounges, to parties – all while trying to cram in a little thing called “work”– ended up in complete and utter disaster, and has had me fearing fashion week ever since. This happened not because it was my first fashion week, but because I wasn't prepared. So here I am, giving you one full day to prepare to take care of your body (they say it’s a temple). And because I don’t want you to end up in the hospital, I have decided to put together the dos and don’ts of surviving fashion week (or month for the fashion folk that probably have their doctor on speed dial).
