Georgine
Georgine is one of the best shows of the season, and she always brings it with the textures. Fall is our favorite and we love her embroidery and quirky details for next season. We met up with her backstage to go through the pieces.
You incorporated sportswear into your collection last season, do we see that again this season? What is it about this side of GEORGINE that wants to be more casual?
We will continue to see sportswear, I think that will be a common theme in each collection as the GEORGINE woman has many needs and is not only going to evening events.
What's your process of choosing the color and fabric palette?
I mix and match Pantone colors and fabrics in line with the inspiration of the season. We started with fabric development right after our Spring/Summer 2015 show, in October.
What will be the IT colors of next season? What about the IT accessory?
Hunter Green, Cotton Candy Pink, Lipstick Red, Camel, Cruel Purple. The IT accessory is our heart shaped red mink fur heart that can be worn as a fanny pack or used as a clutch!
