Where: The Top of the Standard
Who was there: Guests included Olivier Zahm, Chloë Sevigny, Jared Leto, André Balazs, Nur Khan, Adrien Brody, Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, Waris Ahluwalia, James Goldstein, Sabine Heller, and Wes Mason.
Why: The bi-annual Purple Party came to New York once again, and it was exactly what you would expect: models and actors, non-stop dancing, and a few twists along the way. This time the entire top floor of the Standard was used, including both Le Bain, the Boom Boom Room, and the rooftops, for dancing, lounging, and karaoke. Leonardo DiCaprio made a rare appearance, along with Lindsay Lohan and the Hilton sisters, but most of the crowd was too busy getting down to the music to notice the famous faces.
