Colm Dillane - KidSuper

KidSuper Colm Dillane, 23, started selling t-shirts in high school because that was a very NYC thing to do. He attended Brooklyn Tech and since it didn't offer a ton of art classes her began making t-shirts; from there it snowballed. After high school he deferred for a year to play soccer in Brazil and during that time he continued to design. He then came back and attended NYU where he befriended someone who could make websites, which was a big game changer for him. Now there was somewhere to purchase his clothes. He says that the hardest thing about making a brand is getting people that aren't your friends to buy your clothes. But when his brand, KIDSUPER, hit the scene, it took off. He currently has a small store in South Williamsburg, complete with photo shoot space, a recording studio, an art room, and a small soccer pitch. Did we mention he lives in the back of it? Can this kid be any more super? He is also currently selling to some stores in Japan and LA, but we suggest New Yorkers check out his store or website HERE.  Want to learn more?
