The Beginning

Public School designers 2It was not all rainbows and unicorns from the start. At first they didn't even have an office and used to work from Chow's apartment in SoHo. On every interview where they've been asked about how the first months were, they reminisce on all the ramen they ate and sleepless nights they had. Being independent was great because they could work at their own pace, but it also meant they had a very lean budget. But thankfully, hard work pays off and the acknowledgment from the critics started short after they officially launched Public School. [Photo via @publicschoolnyc]
