Not enough can ever be said about keeping it simple. SJP hosted Barneys window unveiling and looked perfect (as usual). Guess what the theme is? Yep. Disney. The veiled ears are fun and supposed to be the focus of this ensemble so she decided to keep the rest of the look minimalistic, which was the right choice. Anything else would have probably made her look like Minnie Mouse.
