Amy Winter's Garments Respond To The Environment

Amy Winter's Garments Respond To The Environment
Amy Winter's Garments Respond To The Environment Amy Winters, the designer of Rainbow Winters, creates touch-sense sound multi-sensory garments. The bathing suit to the left reacts to light, where the garment changes color in the sun. The dress in the middle is made up of holographic leather that reacts to sound. As the volume goes up, the dress illuminates, making sound visual. The top on the right is made from elastic color textile. When the top is stretched or moved, the color changes from green to blue. Amy Winter's designs react to the environment and the human body, while wearing the garment. This textile technology pushes fashion on how clothes respond to our bodies and what's around us.   [Photo via, via, via]
