Dave's Quality Meats
Dave's Quality Meats sounds like the perfect place to get a sirloin steak, but it's actually one of the meatpacking districts hippest sneaker boutiques. The store was opened by pro skateboarder Chris Keefe, and Dave Ortiz, formerly of Zoo York, who together created an innovative store filled with limited edition Nikes and Vans. DQM is also somewhat of a haven for skateboarders, who will adore the wide variety of decks available, as well as clothing and hats from popular California skating labels. The butcher shop theme is prevalent with hoodies hanging from meat hooks, and t-shirts shrink wrapped in a refrigerated case. Purchased items even come in stamped brown paper bags.
