It’s no secret that the brand has struggled in the past to clean up their cliquey high school image, which continued to remain the same even as their core audience grew up, went to college, and onto the real world where mildly suggestive t-shirts no longer drew laughs and giggles but scoffs and ire. Enter Aaron Levine, former head of men’s design at Club Monaco. For those in the know, the move was rather unprecedented that the head of a well-established brand such as Club Monaco would jump ship to take on a risky venture such as the teenage haven that was Abercrombie & Fitch.
