In 2007, at just 24 years old, the former Parsons student presented his eponymous line for the very first time, winning the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award just a year later. After continuously garnering critical acclaim for his sports-luxe looks, the California native was named artistic director of Balenciaga in November 2012 and made a successful debut with the brand this past spring. Known for the urban minimalism of his own lines, Alexander Wang and T by Alexander Wang, the designer nevertheless seems to have adapted to the fine tailoring and detailed elegance of the heritage-heavy house.
