Meatpacking District Improvement Association's First Annual Fundraiser "Open Market" Celebrating Evolving Neighborhood's Fashion, Food and Culture

What: The non-profit Meatpacking District Improvement Association is hosting its inaugural fundraiser, co-chaired by Diane von Furstenberg and Andrew Rosen of Theory tonight. The Open Market is an interactive shopping and dining event with 100% of the proceeds going to the MPIA's efforts to improve the neighborhood. Guests will enjoy DJ sets from The Misshapes, NANCY (LCD Soundsystem/DFA) and JD Samson (Le Tigre/MEN) while shopping at sample sale booths hosted by DVF, Theory, Tory Burch, Helmut Lang, Intermix, Trina Turk, Alice + Olivia, Honor, Jay Godfrey, Joie, Lilla P and Gabriella Bridal who will be doing a special wedding dress booth.
