Similar to women with shorter legs, you want to look for something that doesn't chop your legs up. With muscular calves, that's not a good look. Denim cutoffs are nice if they are a bit longer and really torn up. You can also opt for something solid, but keep it relatively homogeneous with color. If you're opting for a pattern, the smaller the better. The one style you have to avoid is bermuda - you don't want to look stocky or brute.
