It may still be winter but it's not too early to start thinking about denim shorts. Whether paired with tights and long socks during cooler months or bare legged with sandals this summer, jean shorts are a classic. High waisted, short shorts are a great way to show a lot of leg (make sure the fit is loose and casual), and many have the same kind of patterns and distressed elements seen on pants.
