Venus: French Open, 2010
At the 2010 French Open, Venus showed up to her opening round match against Patty Schnyder wearing, well, lingerie. The black, frilly, spaghetti strap number caught the eyes of fans and critics alike, but Venus shut everyone up when Venus easily won the match. The rest of the French Open didn't treat the Williams sisters well, though: both Venus and Serena were eliminated before the quarterfinals that year.
