Serena: Wimbledon, 2008
In 2008, Serena took Wimbledon whites to a whole new level when she appeared on the pristine grass courts (and in the blazing sun) wearing a white trench coat. "You know, I absolutely love trench coats," she
told reporters. "Now I have a wonderful white coat I can wear on the court and also in New York for those rainy days. … It's ladylike and goes perfect with my personality. It's very light. It's just delectable." Serena went on to win her match that afternoon, but her sister Venus ended up winning Wimbledon.
