This classic 1950's shape was popularized by iconic women like Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, who were all frequently photographed rocking cat eye sunglasses. The quirky look ranged from black and tortoise, to clear and colored, to glitter and embellished frames. Grace Kelly went for the more classic, black cat eyes, while trendsetter Audrey Hepburn took more of a risk by experimenting with color and size.
